Is There Such a Thing as Mistress Day ?
Jan 29th
We all know about Valentine’s Day, but is there a such thing as Mistress Day? Ashley Madison tends to think so, and so does the public at large. The one main difference is the date of this day. Mistress Day is heavily dependent upon the man’s mistress. The chances of Mistress Day falling on a weekend is near impossible, after all, this is ‘family time’. That excuse of “needing to work late” always seems to come up right before or right after Valentine’s Day. For some guys who like to play russian roulette, seeing you mistress on Vday is ballsy, yet happens.
The Ashley Madison Scam is to get you believing Mistress Day is Feb 13th, when in actuality it’s a time frame in and around Valentine’s Day.

Ashley Madison’s CEO is at it Again – This time in Australia
Jul 28th
Well, looks like Ashley Madison’s CEO (Noel Biderman) is at it again, this time in Australia. He’s boasting how AshleyMadison.com is bigger than the size of Massachusetts. With over 10 million members, the CEO also boasts that there are approx 30-35% women on this affair site. While in Australia, it’s much higher at 40% plus. Not sure if this is true or not, but when I was in Melbourne in my early 20s, meeting girls was so easy. I chalked it up to my “American” accent. But then again, I keep in contact with a few of my Aussie friends. Can someone explain to me how why the media gives Noel so much press coverage? Come on, cheating has been around forever, is it so absurd that cheaters go online to find that secretive mate?

An Open Minded Generation Has Lead Us To This
Dec 23rd
Isn’t it something, as decades and generations past, the more accepting we are becoming? I remember when I was in school, the term “gay” was looked down upon. If you were a bully, big deal. Now fast forward to the end of 2010, and there’s a huge shift. We are more open than ever to the gay community, yet still some work needs to be done. Bullying on the other hand, took center stage this year. I call this an open minded generation.
With an open mind comes acceptance. At first glance, there was match.com and eHarmony.com. Nowadays, you have a website dedicated to affairs on top of TMZ’s list with AshleyMadison.com. Acceptance. To further the open mind, you have women looking for financial help in exchange for a unique relationships with ArrangementFinders.com . Acceptance. Now try having this conversation with the older generation. Exactly!
How Does the Down Economy Play into Ashley Madison’s Hands?
Dec 9th
The US is near 10% unemployment (9.8% from its latest figures). And for those of you lucky enough to have a job, you’re traveling farther than ever and working longer than ever to keep that same paycheck. After all, you haven’t seen a raise in a few years. Throw in a family with a wife that still wants to go to Bloomys brings in tension from all angles.
Now more than ever, married couples are staying together since they can not financially make it on their own. Forget about celebrity divorces, those are a breed of their own. How can you file for divorce when the women AND the man are barely keeping their heads above water. There is no financial gain in getting divorced, and its driving divorce attorneys bonkers.
Instead, you have this mini open marriage that is appearing throughout the United States. Married men and women are looking for that new partner while still in their existing relationship. Since discretion is still essential for these folks, Ashley Madison is seeing an uptick in their signup rates. With nearly 8 million member, look to Christmas and New Years to be a rockin time on this cheating website. Think it’s an Ashley Madison scam, only way to find out.
Cheating and Divorce Statistics – Not What You Thought
Oct 29th
Cheating and divorce statistics are some of the ugliest and most feared numbers you will find on the Internet. One in five marriages face infidelity and almost half of all marriages end in divorce. You’re probably asking yourself: what’s the good news? The good news is that over half of all marriages work even though monogamy, according to the latest scientific studies, is completely unnatural, and only 17% of the marriages affected by infidelity end because of it.
Probably not what you wanted to hear, right?
You probably wanted to hear that the rate of infidelity is declining and that the divorce rate is going with it. Well, the latter is true. The divorce rate is at its lowest since 1970 and couples are proving that they are taking it seriously and in it for the long haul. However, the rate of infidelity has not changed much in the time that it has been studied. Approximately 45% of married women will cheat during a long marriage and 60% of married men will. For the married couples: don’t feel as though you are in this alone. One in 2.7 of all couples are affected by infidelity.
You are probably hoping right about now that the cheating and divorce statistics have to have a silver lining. It depends upon the perspective what you would consider a good statistic when it comes to these matters. Ten percent of all infidelities last only a day, half last more than a month, while an insignificant few make it past the “four year” mark (probably poor consolation to many marriages). How about it the fact that it is astronomically rare for the cheater to actually marry the person they cheated with? And for those that actually do they have a higher than average (above 75%) divorce rate. Some people like that one.
Given the cheating and divorce statistics it is a wonder anyone tries their hand at marriage at all.
Hope is a human trait. We hope that this will not happen to us. We hope that our marriage will survive adversity. We hope our spouse will not stray. We hope that if they stray they will come back to us. We hope these things even when the odds are against us. Hope is a powerful thing.
Still, as hope is human so is the propensity for infidelity. Humans mess up. It can be the end of a marriage or, with counseling, a new beginning depending upon how you choose to react to it. Do you throw the baby out with the bath water? Do you do this knowing that most of your neighbors are quietly in the same boat? It is a personal decision how one deal with infidelity. It is definitely a heart and spirit crusher. You feel lost, lied to, and in limbo. You are afraid it will happen again. It just might even if you are with someone new. This doesn’t have to be depressing. Armed with the facts of how and why it happens you can put armor on your marriage or relationship. Knowing where cheating starts, knowing how to prevent and survive it, these are your best defenses.
Regardless of the stats or where you think you fall in the mix, a critical element is understanding what you’re looking for. If you couple this with discretion from Ashley Madison, you’ll be able to find the ultimate answer in the journey.
Ashley Madison Sex Scam or International Phenomenon?
Oct 21st
You ask any man if he’d cheat on his wife, and a high percentage would say no (publically that is). Now, if you ask that same question with one extra element: “Would you cheat on your wife if you would never get caught?” Yea, a man’s eyes will light up like a kid in a candy store with the thought of this. Well, Ashley Madison has been marketing their matchmaking service in this capacity for years. With nearly 7.5 million members, there seems to be wide spread agreement on the concept of not getting caught. But is this an Ashley Madison sex scam?
There’s been a huge media blitz with Ashley in the past month and it’s all international. Avid Life Media, a small company based in Toronto, has been getting wide media exposure with their media darling Ashley Madison. The past 30 days has included constant media attention in Australia, New Zealand, and in Europe. The response in those countries are a little bit more open than here in the US / Canada.
The average US / Canadian individual hearing about Ashley Madison for the first time acts appalled. At the same time, we all go nuts for every celebrity scandal out there. Meanwhile, 24 hours later, those same US / Canadian citizens are going on Google researching Ashley Madison. Such hypocrites we are in North America!
In Europe, you don’t get this sort of severe negative reaction. You get more of a subtle light laughter. More like a “cheating online website, what will they think of next”. So you have more acceptance of this cheating site outside of North America.
Noel Biderman, President and CEO of Ashley Madison, was quoted in an international interview that he expects Ashley Madison to have 100 million members in 5 years and become a phenomenon. The site already provides a shock factor; the next step is an acceptance factor. It obviously gets pushback in North America, yet it’s still over 7 million members. Now you throw in an accepting international community, Noel could actually forecast this thing correctly. What do you think?
First Craigslist Bans Adult – Now Backpage Suspends Personals!
Oct 19th
The free online personals space has really taken a hit lately. A few months back, the adult section of craigslist was removed due to excess government and public pressure. Don’t be fooled, this is definitely something that Craigslist did NOT want to do. A significantly high portion of their revenues came from the adult services section. One of its major downfalls came with open prostitution, much of which contained underage and human trafficking. It really was a matter of time before CL had to shut this section down.
Like anything that deals with escorts, these girls (and johns) will find a new place online to setup shop. The moment Craigslist shut down their services, there was a huge spike in traffic to Backpage.com. At first what seemed like a simple personals site, turned into a free for all of escort activity. As a result, today (October 18) Backpage.com suspended the personals section of their site. Again, a very large percentage of their revenues come from these adult services.
If free personals and dating sites do not police their profiles closely, they will all face a similar fate. As a result, as a user (or a poster) of the sites, it crucial to value the element of discretion. Whether you use cheating sites like Ashley Madison or not, being part of a discreet dating site needs to be on top of your list of concerns.
